Gelato product mockups.
Connect a Gelato product template, then test its mockup with one finished artwork file. The studio’s illustrated preview remains separate until the result and print placement have been checked.
Checking owner access…
1. Connect your product ranges
Your supplied IDs are prefilled. Each range is saved separately after Gelato verifies access. This does not add products to the shop or confirm printing method or delivery availability.
- In Gelato, create a product template with the required colours, sizes and mockup views.
- Use one full-canvas image per print surface: front for garments, front and back for totes, outer and inner for cards. Remove text layers.
- Copy the Template ID. Open the intended store in Gelato and copy its Store ID from the URL.
If Gelato only offers Etsy or Shopify, stop here: your account’s compatibility with this template workflow needs checking. Don’t buy a Personalize subscription just for this test.
This checks your existing API key. It does not place an order or create a product.
2. Test a real mockup
This creates a product marked hidden in the connected Gelato store. It does not order a print. Use a finished PNG or JPEG containing all the artwork and lettering you want to test.
3. Recent mockup tests
Resume an existing test without uploading again or creating another product. Template access alone does not confirm that the connected store can finish rendering and publishing.
