Returns, Cancellation & Refunds Policy

Scope & Definitions

  • "You / Customer" means a consumer purchasing a T-shirt via our store.
  • "Order date" means the date you placed the order.
  • "Personalised / Custom / Bespoke Goods" means T-shirts where you have requested custom design, name, text, or unique modifications not offered as standard products.

Cancellations & Withdrawal Rights

Before Production Begins

You may cancel your order free of charge at any time before production commences. Contact returns@tshirt.uk immediately with your order number to request cancellation.

After Production Has Started

Due to the personalized nature of made-to-order products, standard cooling-off periods may not apply once manufacturing has begun, as permitted under consumer protection frameworks for customized goods. However, your local consumer law may provide additional cancellation rights which we will honor upon request.

Quality Standards & Defective Products

Your Right to Quality

You are entitled to receive products that are:

  • As described and match your order specifications
  • Of satisfactory quality and durability
  • Fit for purpose and free from defects
  • Safely packaged and undamaged

Resolution for Defects or Errors

If your product arrives defective, damaged, incorrectly printed, or not as described:

Reporting timeframe: You must inform us of the issue within 30 days from the date you received the item.

Your remedy options:

  • Free replacement – A new item printed and shipped at no cost to you
  • Full refund – Complete reimbursement including original shipping charges

We may ask for evidence (e.g. photos) and, if validated, we will either replace the item or issue a full refund within 14 days of agreeing that a refund is appropriate.

Faults Appearing After 30 Days

If a fault appears after 30 days (but within 6 months of receipt), we'll arrange repair or replacement where feasible. If we can't fix or replace, we'll offer a refund.

How to Report an Issue

Email returns@tshirt.uk with your order number, clear photos showing the defect, and a brief description. Return shipping costs for verified defects are covered by us.

Change of Mind Returns

As custom-made items are produced specifically for each customer, change-of-mind returns are generally not accepted once production has commenced. This aligns with exemptions for personalized goods under most consumer protection frameworks.

Exception: Defective or misdescribed items remain eligible for return and remedy regardless of customization, in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Additional Terms

Where local consumer protection laws provide greater rights or longer timeframes than those specified above, those laws shall take precedence.
